A total of 88.5 million euros will be paid to over 100,000 beneficiaries, within the framework of the planned payments by e-EFKA and OAED, during the week of March 14-18.
In particular, as stated in an announcement of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs:
1. From e-EFKA, in the period 14-18 March, the following payments will be made, within the framework of the regular payments of the institution:
– 11.2 million euros will be paid to 29,174 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, illness, accident, funeral expenses).
– 18.2 million euros will be paid to 660 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.
2. The following payments will be made by OAED:
– EUR 18 million to 47,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– € 21 million will be paid to 9,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment schemes.
– 6.5 million euros will be paid to 10,000 mothers for a subsidized maternity leave.
– EUR 3 million will be paid to 5,000 beneficiaries for public benefit projects.
