By decision of the Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Noti Mitarakis, the Solidarity Fund approved additional funding of 2,296 million euros to 3 local government organizations (OTA) first degree in the context of supporting local communities that contribute to the management of immigration.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum, the Municipalities of Larissa, Paionia and Tanagra are subsidized with a total of 2,296 million euros for municipal projects, following proposals submitted at their discretion and based on local needs.
A total of 85 projects amounting to € 32,484,419.02 have been approved in 34 local government organizations (OTA) of the first degree, legal entities under public law, as well as legal entities under private law of article 252 of the Code of Municipalities and Communities (Law 3463/2006 , A` 116) the share capital of which belongs by a majority to the local authorities.
