The balance of employment flows was negative in October 2021, according to the data of the information system “ERGANI”, while in the ten months of January-October it remained positive, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Specifically, during the last month, recruitment announcements amounted to 230,174, while departures to 300,222 (97,272 voluntary departures and 202,950 terminations of indefinite contracts or expiration of fixed-term contracts). As a result, the September balance was negative by 70,048 jobs.
In the 10 months of January-October, the recruitment announcements amounted to 1,999,631 and the departures reached 1,784,822 (978,813 terminations of contracts of indefinite duration or expiration of fixed-term contracts and 806,009 voluntary departures). Thus, the balance of wage flows in the first nine months of 2021 was positive by 214,809 jobs.
