Three women from the same family were found dead in an apartment in Belo Horizonte, this Friday (9). Cristina Antonini, 66, her daughter Daniela Antonini, 40, and granddaughter Giovanna Antonini Vasconcelos, just 1 year old, were on the bed, police said.
Four dogs were also killed in rooms of the apartment, where three trays with burnt charcoal were found. The windows were prohibited and there were no marks of violence in the bodies. The first suspicion of the police is that everyone died intoxicated, but the Civil Police investigation is just beginning.
Daniela was separated and lived with her mother and daughter. On Thursday, 8, the former maid went to the building where Daniela resided, on Mato Grosso Street, in the Barro Preto neighborhood, and asked the porter about the family.
The porter said he hadn’t seen any of the women since Sunday (4). The former maid left, but on the morning of Friday called the building’s liquidator and said she was very concerned about the lack of news from her ex-Nora.
“I said I was coming to the building and that I would go to the floor where they lived,” said liquidator, Raquel Moreira, in an interview with TV Globo. She went to the 13th floor. “As soon as I arrived, I felt a very strong odor and called the police.” Military police broke into the door and entered the apartment, where they found the dead trio.
