10 moments we will remember from the shows of this Paris Fashion Week

There Paris Fashion Week has officially ended (to Disneyland Paris with Coperni, not bad!) and also this edition dedicated to the Spring-Summer 2025 fashion shows gave us moments of unexpected joy. And of amazement, too. Because there was no shortage of unexpected events on the catwalk (promptly transformed into opportunities for a epic win), the celebrities who closed the fashion shows by surprise (hello, Kylie Jenner!), the ovations and… the soundtracks which are already hits (thank you always, Alessandro Michele!). Let’s rewind the tape of this Paris Fashion Week and relive the 10 moments to remember.

13 moments that we will remember from this Milan Fashion Week

From great top models to accidents on the catwalk, from special collaborations to the most unlikely accessories we could have ever imagined: Milan Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2025 ends with fashion moments and anecdotes (already) impossible to forget

1. The standing ovation upon Alessandro Michele’s return

Alessandro Michele is officially back. The famous (and visionary) former creative director of Gucci made his debut at the reins of the Valentino fashion house, whose appointment took place last March. His first collection, presented in the Spring-Summer 2025 calendar of Paris Fashion Week, was greeted with a standing ovation at the end of the parade. The first one was good (and we can’t wait for the second one already).

2. The thousand trunks for the Louis Vuitton catwalk

What better way to celebrate your own heritage? What more sublime way to remind everyone that Louis Vuitton, historic founder of the French maison that bears his name, was also King Louis XIV’s suitcase? It is precisely the history of the trunks that the brand wanted to honor this season, during the fashion show at Cour Carrée du Louvre. In total, there would have been a thousand.

3. Coperni at Disneyland with Kylie Jenner

From Coperni you can always expect everything. After the famous spray dress created on the spot for Bella Hadid, and after the avant-garde bag made up of 99% air, the brand has chosen not to show on the Paris Fashion Week calendar. Rather, to close the fashion week anyway by bringing the professionals to Disneyland Paris. This is where the real magic revealed itself. AND Surprisingly, it was Kylie Jenner who closed the show.

4. Coperni shoes inspired by Mickey Mouse

Such location, such theme. Obviously, the new Coperni collection could only be inspired by the magical world of Disney. The release was anticipated with a shoe, previewed on the brand’s social profile. Two foreign presences, or rather two large rounded inserts on the sides of the black slingback, immediately led us back to Mickey Mouse’s ears. So simple, so ingenious, so Coperni.

5. The activist incursion at Hermès

The incursions onto the Paris catwalks continue, which in previous editions have also involved other fashion houses, including Louis Vuitton. This time, it was the Hermès maison’s turn: a PETA activist (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) used the visibility of the occasion to demand animal rights. A hot topic, on which there is still work to be done in the luxury industry.

6. Willem Dafoe on the catwalk for Miu Miu

Uh-oh I thought I saw Willem Dafoe! Yes, it was him. Miuccia Prada continues to cultivate her strong interest in cinema, bringing it closer to fashion with the direct participation of actors. It is not the first time that the American actor embraces the codes of Miuccia Prada’s stylistic code: it already happened about thirty years ago, when Dafoe was the protagonist of the Prada Autumn-Winter 1996/1997 campaign directed by the British director Glen Luchford.

7. Travis Scott on the catwalk for Vetements

The music world knows him as Travis Scottborn Jacques Bermon Webster II. The thirty-three-year-old Texan rapper was spotted in the cast of the Vetements fashion show, the brand led by Guram Gvasalia: brother (and bitter enemy, apparently) of Demna, creative director of Balenciaga.

8. Anok Yai, and the runaway bride improvisation

Imagine the scene (promptly taken from the Instagram account Stylenotcom in the post that follows below): the model goes out on the catwalk with the most awaited dress, the wedding dress that closes the show. And at a certain point, overcome by despair, she stages one sketch unexpected: she turns on her heel and runs away, as if there was a groom waiting for her at the end of the catwalk… and who decided to refuse at the last minute. A fashion moment which we will always remember and which, in all honesty, was not even planned. Galeotti the uncomfortable heels!

9. Riley Keough’s singing performance at Chanel

AAA Creative director wanted (again) for the Chanel maison: a replacement name for that of Virginie Viard has not yet been identified. Meanwhile, the show must go on. And it continued in this Paris Fashion Week with the performance of Riley Keoughactress and granddaughter of Elvis Presley, who performed to the tune of When Doves Cry by Prince.

10. The soundtrack of the Valentino fashion show

Can we say it? We’re already obsessed. From the brilliant idea, above all. The soundtrack of the Valentino fashion show reminds us that “we must rejoice”. In truth, it is a poetic license from the maison su The Passacaglia of Life, an anonymous one from 1657, taken from the collection Spiritual and Moral Songs and often attributed to the Roman composer Stefano Landi. The original text says why it is poetic license: “one must die”.
