10 startups with socio-environmental activities are chosen for Cielo’s mentoring program

Ten startups out of a total of 262 registered were chosen to participate in a Cielo’s mentoring program in this year. The selection focused on the so-called impact companies, that is, those that aim to solve socio-environmental problems.

The idea of the program is to provide support to boost the business of these companies, whose areas of operation include logistics, education, ESG, human resources, communication and retail.

They are: Barkus, Eneway, Firgun, Klumie, Minha Coleta, Nina Tech&Food, Original Experience, Restin, Retrilhar and Wastebank. According to Cielo, these startups seek financial return while claiming to commit to measuring the impact they generate.

The program, which has been in existence since 2018, will be carried out in a hybrid format, ending in November.

“Evaluating each of the impact startups and understanding how much their solutions can bring back to society increases the relevance of the theme, present throughout Brazil”, says Ana Fusco, head of Garagem, Cielo’s innovation hub.

The program released a brief summary of the performance of each of the chosen companies. Look:
