10-year Treasury yield surpasses 1.4% for the first time since February 2020

The Yield on 10-year US Treasuries resumed the bullish cycle on Wednesday. The rate reached the highest level in a year at 1,429%.

After correcting and losing 1.7% on Tuesday, the 10-year Treasury yield regained its traction and advanced above 1.4% for the first time since February 24, 2020. At time of writing, the yield the 10-year benchmark rises to 5.2% on the day to 1.42%.

What is happening in the bond market is supporting the dollar. The U.S. dollar index (DXY) rises by 0.22% and operates over 90.30. Stocks are retreating modestly. Gold and silver are falling sharply.
