Experts of the analytical agency “Autostat” report that over the past 10 years, the Lada Granta sedan, which is very popular in Russia, has risen in price by about 2.5 times.
The production of this model began in November 2011, when they asked for it from 229,000 rubles. In November 2021, the minimum cost of Lada Granta, according to the Auto Price website, is 559,900 rubles. For 10 years, new cars have risen in price by more than 330,000 rubles. At the same time, on December 1, there will be another increase in prices for all AvtoVAZ products, as we reported yesterday. A few days before the rise in price, AvtoVAZ offers to issue a loan for Lada through “Gosuslugi”.

This rise in prices is explained by constant inflation and the depreciation of the ruble. This year, the situation was exacerbated by a shortage of electronic components, which caused a shortage of cars at dealerships. It was also announced that the Lada Granta assembly line has been stopped until December.
Lada Granta remains the cheapest car in Russia, while getting it at the lowest price is quite difficult. This situation is observed today with almost all new cars.
The source adds that cars of the Lada Granta family are the best-selling cars in Russia since 2019.
