Yesterday Xiaomi officially unveiled its flagship smartwatch Watch S1, and today a Chinese source has published all the technical details of the device and a large number of live photos.
The source calls the Watch S1 the most beautiful Xiaomi smartwatch, and perhaps it is. For example, the 316L stainless steel case is hand-polished and the ultra-durable sapphire crystal protects the screen. While the company’s previous smartwatches used a silicone strap, the Watch S1 received a fluoroelastomer strap – with a smoother surface and greater resistance to dirt. Optionally, the novelty is offered with a leather strap made of high quality calfskin.
The Mi Watch S1 received an AMOLED screen with a diameter of 1.43 inches with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a frame rate of 60 Hz. More than 200 themes are provided for the device, including those customizable by the users themselves.
The watch uses the BES2500BP chip, the volume of RAM and built-in flash memory was 4 and 32 GB, respectively.
Mi Watch S1 is equipped with a dual-band navigation receiver (with support for GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS), heart rate and SpO2 sensors (the second can be set to automatic oximetry every 10 or 30 minutes). There is support for 117 training modes, including 19 professional ones. The device supports the installation of third-party applications.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 uses a 470 mAh rechargeable battery. Autonomy in normal mode – 12 days, in power saving mode – 24 days. The kit includes a charger with a magnetic mount, it takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge.
The novelty will go on sale in two versions: the Obsidian Black Edition with a FPM strap for $ 175 and the Streamer Silver with a leather strap for $ 190.
