This March 12, the 95th edition of the Oscars took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, United States.
Unlike last year, the most anticipated night in the movie world was not overshadowed by onstage brawls, so the 2023 Oscars were a smashing success, delivering some unforgettable moments, from the big winners to the incredible performances of Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
Everything everywhere at the same time won seven statuettes, including the Best Picture category, while Brendan Fraser won the Best Actor Oscar for his extraordinary performance in The whale. 2. Lady Gaga and the photographer

5. Guillermo del Toro broke a historic record
Guillermo del Toro made history at the 2023 Oscars by becoming the first person in history to win an Oscar for Best Picture, Best Director (both for the shape of water) and for Best Animated Film, the latter for its extraordinary adaptation of pinocchio.

7. Jamie Lee Curtis is moved and remembers her parents
Though incredulous, eventually Jamie Lee Curtis also nabbed her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Everything everywhere at the same time. On stage, the actress thanked the directors and all those who have worked on this film, dedicating the statuette to her family.
