Midea Group, a well-known Chinese home appliance manufacturer, said Midea and Huawei’s HarmonyOS creators are actively collaborating.
Beginning last year, the company began rolling out HarmonyOS to its devices. According to the company, Midea currently has 12 devices in its assortment that run the HarmonyOS operating system and belong to 7 different categories.
Midea Group claims that users can now use smartphones to control devices such as dishwashers, electric water heaters, gas water heaters, water purifiers and smart cookers.
This week, Midea unveiled the world’s first refrigerator to run the HarmonyOS operating system. The refrigerator has already appeared in the Huawei store at a price of $ 1,100 for early adopters.
The HarmonyOS Green Network currently has over 300 app and service partners, over 1,000 hardware partners, and over 500,000 developers.
