The 12-year-old teenager killed in Belo Horizonte was raped and asphyxiated by the 25-year-old man who took her to his home. The information was released by the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG), this Friday (26). The man was indicted for rape of a vulnerable person, murder, procedural fraud and corruption of minors.
According to the investigation, it was proven that the man took the teenager to his house with the intention of raping her. In the examinations carried out by criminal forensics, it was found that the genetic material found in the victim's body was the same as the suspect's DNA.
According to police chief Leandro Alves Santos, the girl suffered a seizure during sexual intercourse because the man compressed her chest and took the risk of killing the victim, “the victim had her chest compressed in such a way that she was unable to breathe and died”, explains the delegate.
Toxicological tests carried out on the teenager's body did not detect drug use. This finding overturns the man's testimony, who at the time, told the police that the victim had asked for a glass of water, and that for this reason he took her to the house. According to him, the teenager had used “loló”, felt ill and died outside her home.
The head of the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) Alessandra Wilke also said that the man convinced the girl to accompany him and enter the house, “many condoms, used and unused, traces of narcotics and there were also many toys, video tapes and children's drawings pinned to the wall”, says Alessandra.
Simulated help
Investigations indicate that the supposed help provided by the man, who claims to have called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and asked pedestrians for help, would have been a simulation, as the girl would already be dead very close to the moment she arrived at the suspect's home.
The man was caught on security cameras entering the house with the child and leaving, hours later, carrying the girl on his lap, apparently unconscious.
“He thought of every way to cover up his tracks, to try to simulate how she would have died outside the house, including at the neighboring address, to say that he found her at the door of the neighbor's house, where she would have fallen ill”, he added. the delegate.
