Huawei has unveiled a new low-cost laptop in China – the MateBook D14 SE. The novelty is a simplified and more affordable version of the MateBook D. The only configuration with a Core i5-1155G7 processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD is priced at $ 615.
The MateBook D14 SE features a 14-inch Full HD display with 45% NTSC coverage (the regular MateBook D has 100% sRGB coverage and 16GB of RAM).
The MateBook D14 SE also includes Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11ax adapters, one USB 3.2 Gen1 port, USB-A 2.0 and USB-C. There is also an HDMI video output, a backlit keyboard, a fingerprint scanner, a 56Wh battery and preinstalled Windows 11. Starting today, the new product is available for pre-order in China, and real sales start on January 20.
