The French government has launched an investigation into the serious injuries of a 14-year-old girl who fell into a coma after being beaten outside her school by three other teenagers. The three alleged perpetrators, including a girl who attended the same school as the 14-year-old in Montpellier, France, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a minor. The girl has woken up from the coma, but her health condition has not stabilized yet. Among the alleged perpetrators is, the Guardian reports, a girl from the same school, also 14, who was arrested on Wednesday and admitted hitting the victim.
