Motorola unveiled its second generation Motorola Edge smartphone in the US today.

The 2021 Motorola Edge can be considered the successor to last year’s original Motorola Edge rather than the flagship version of the Edge +. It is noted that the new Motorola Edge belongs to the same line as the Motorola Edge 20 models presented at the end of July. However, the new model is slightly different from its siblings. For example, there is no OLED here.

The Motorola Edge is equipped with a 6.8-inch Full HD + LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 32MP front camera, and a main triple camera (108MP, 8MP and 2MP).
The hardware base is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G SoC, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal flash memory. The 5000mAh battery supports 30W Turbo Power fast charging. You can also note the protection against water (IP52) and the Android 11 operating system.
In the US, the 2021 Motorola Edge will be available for $ 500 for the first time. Then, the price will rise to $ 700. Acceptance of pre-orders will begin on August 23, and open sales on September 2.
