The Realme 9 Pro was announced in mid-February, and today the Realme 9 5G SE was unveiled, which is faster than the Realme 9 Pro. SE stands for Speed Edition and the phone lives up to its name for two reasons: it has a faster chipset and a faster display.
The Realme 9 5G SE is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC, while the Realme 9 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 695. The phone comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4x) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage. There is a triple card slot that can accommodate a microSD card. The phone comes with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

The 6.6-inch display runs at a refresh rate of 144Hz. Realme claims that such a screen and the Snapdragon 778G are unique in this price segment. The screen can be switched between six frequency settings from 30 to 144 Hz. It also offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate, making it suitable for fast-paced gaming. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels (20:9) and promises a peak brightness of 600 cd/m2.
The phone’s battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and is charged at a power of 30 W using the included adapter. It can work up to 19.5 hours when playing video. The smartphone has a 48-megapixel rear camera with a 16-megapixel selfie sensor. There is also a capacitive fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 modules.

In India, the price is between 260 and 300 dollars, sales will begin on March 14th.
