Motorola is preparing to introduce a new flagship smartphone. It will be called Moto Edge X and Moto Edge 30 Ultra depending on the market. In the first case, this is the name for China, and in the second, it is about the name of the global version.
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra will be the successor to the company’s current flagship. The novelty will receive a 144-hertz OLED display with Full HD + resolution and a diagonal of 6.67 inches. The heart will be the new SoC Snapdragon 898. RAM will be 8 or 12 GB, and flash memory will be 128 or 256 GB. No memory card slot expected.
The source claims that the novelty will receive a triple main camera with sensors with a resolution of 50, 50 and 2 megapixels. That is, there will be an ultra-wide-angle camera, but there will be no telephoto, which is strange, since the Motorola Edge 20 Pro has one. But the resolution of the front camera is supposedly 60 megapixels, and this is probably the most multi-megapixel front camera on the market.
The battery capacity will be 5000 mAh, and there will be 68-watt charging. Of the rest, it is worth noting the lack of a headphone jack, waterproof (IP52), four microphones, Wi-Fi 6 and Android 12 out of the box.
