Meizu has revealed some interesting details about the new Meizu Watch, which is due to be unveiled at a press conference in China on May 31st.
Meizu said that if you charge the watch for only 15 minutes, it will hold a charge throughout the day. This means that a fully charged Meizu Watch will last for several days. The company has not yet clarified the full capacity of the battery, although sources claim it is 420 mAh.
In addition, Meizu has confirmed that the wireless charging station for Meizu Watch is separate from the wire. That is, when traveling, you just need to have the charger itself with you, which can be connected to any USB-C cable.
The new smartwatch will be powered by the Flyme for Watch operating system and will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC. The watch will have LTE support and an integrated eSIM card for mobile calls.
The watch will allow you to control music playback, will be able to track activity, heart rate and oxygen content in the user’s blood. NFC and a pulse oximeter are also expected.
