Honor yesterday introduced new versions of MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15 laptops in China. They differ from their predecessors in hardware platform – instead of Intel processors, AMD APUs are used: in the basic version – Ryzen 5 5500U, in the top version – Ryzen 7 5700U.
Laptops are made in metal cases, have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 adapters. The cooling system has been improved – its efficiency, compared to the previous version, is increased by 36%. The devices use IPS screens with a resolution of Full HD with a diagonal of 14 inches (MagicBook 14) and 15.6 inches (MagicBook 15). The thickness and weight of the younger model is 15.9 mm and 1.38 kg, the older one is 16.9 mm and 1.54 kg. New items are running Windows 10, but they have already announced an update to Windows 11.

The Honor MagicBook 14 with the Ryzen 5 5500U APU is priced at $ 700, but early adopters will be able to get it for $ 650. The version with the Ryzen 7 5700U APU is priced at $ 760. The MagicBook 15 has only one variant so far, with the Ryzen 5 5500U at $ 665 for early pre-order buyers and $ 710 for retail.
