“1,700 years from Nice”: Bartholomew declares the unity of churches in Antalya – emotion for Pope Francis

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew declared the opening of the International Scientific Conference on Tuesday, May 6, at Antalya on “Starting again by Nice: the importance of incarnation in modern theology”. The two -day conference is organized with the initiative and care of the Metropolitan Pisidia, under the auspices of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, in collaboration with the Corpus International Association, on the occasion of the 1,700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nice. “We express our gratitude to the Honorable Metropolitan of Pisidia Job and his associates for their efforts to bring this conference here to Antalya,” the Ecumenical Patriarch said in his opening speech.
