Russian dealers of Genesis began selling the Genesis G80 business sedan with a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine with a capacity of 199 hp. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
It is worth noting that until this moment the Genesis G80 was available on the Russian market with two turbocharged petrol engines: a 2.5-liter (249 hp, 422 Nm) and a 3.5-liter V6 (379 hp, 530 Nm).
The cost of the Genesis G80 diesel sedan in the initial Business configuration is 4 million 205 thousand rubles. The version with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine costs exactly the same. The top version will be offered for 5 million 605 thousand rubles.
The standard equipment of the model includes a leather interior, power and heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, cruise control, ten airbags, a multimedia system with navigation and a 14.5-inch touch screen that supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto, keyless entry, a rear camera view, light and rain sensors, full LED headlights and taillights.
Last year, sales of the model amounted to 628 units in Russia, which is 66% more than a year earlier.
