Reputable insider Ice Universe has released information that Motorola, Xiaomi and Samsung will start using 200-megapixel cameras in their smartphones.
The 200-megapixel camera will first appear in the Moto smartphone, then Xiaomi will launch such a smartphone in the second half of next year, and by 2023 Samsung will also switch to 200-megapixel cameras.

The first smartphone in the world to receive a 108-megapixel camera was the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, released almost two years ago. The Samsung ISOCELL HP1 image sensor reportedly has a resolution of 200 megapixels and 0.64 pixels.
In low light conditions, the sensor can capture 50MP images with 1.28μm pixels or 12.5MP photos with 2.56μm pixels. This image sensor will support 8K video recording at 30 fps, as well as 4K video at 120 fps.
