Xiaomi Group Vice President Lu Weibing revealed on his Weibo page that the grand opening of the largest Xiaomi Mi Home flagship store in China took place on April 30. A new flagship store has opened in the southern Chinese city of Nanning.
The new store features all the tech giant’s products. According to promotional reports, Xiaomi Mi’s new flagship home store is built on an area of 1,000 square meters. It consists of three floors. There is also a huge screen on the facade.
The new store will reportedly house over 2,000 products, including smartphones, smart speakers, smart TVs and other Xiaomi ecosystem products. The tech giant is also giving away gifts to shoppers, including Redmi Buds 3 headphones, XiaoAI Speaker Play one, and more.
Xiaomi started out as an online brand but gradually began to expand into the retail segment. The Chinese tech giant has built a strong offline presence in recent years. It currently has over 10,000 Mi Stores in China.
Xiaomi provides after-sales service in its authorized stores. In the future, Xiaomi plans to open a service center in every county in China.
