The attack of a man with a knife in a kindergarten in the city, during which he managed to injure three children, has caused shock in Zurich. “A 23-year-old Chinese man attacked young children attending a daycare center in Zurich with a knife, injuring three children, including one seriously,” local police said. “One child was seriously injured and two other 5-year-old boys who were not so seriously injured received first aid (…) before being taken to a hospital,” police said in a press release, adding that “the 23-year-old Chinese man was arrested.” As the Mirror reports, residents of the area reported seeing terrified parents running to find their children when it became known that there had been an attack by a man wielding a knife at the nursery. The violent attack took place at noon in the city’s northern Erlikon district, according to police.
