Aurus Senat, a Russian executive class car developed by the State Research Center of the Russian Federation FSUE “NAMI”, has officially entered the market. Commercial sales of the domestic premium sedan started on Thursday, October 7th. Especially for the sale of Aurus Senat, the Avilon group of companies has opened a new showroom on Avtozavodskaya Street in Moscow with an area of 180 square meters.
Until now, only legal entities could acquire Aurus Senat, mainly state-owned companies. But after the opening of the showroom, private individuals will also be able to buy a prestigious car. True, in “Avilon” they say that all cars produced this year, and there were about 350 copies of them, have already been sold out and from day to day the first private buyers will receive them. The dealer is now taking pre-orders for the Senat for next spring. While the car is available in a single configuration – the maximum for 24 million rubles. Buyers can only choose the body color and trim, no other options are offered to choose from. But you can order an armored Aurus or a limousine like Russian President Vladimir Putin. But in this case, the cost will be higher than the declared 24 million, and the waiting period will stretch for eight months.

Under the same roof with the Aurus showroom there is a corporate service area of 100 squares with two lifts for servicing domestic premium cars, including a flagship armored limousine weighing more than 6 tons. The opening of the new Aurus salon cost Avilon 50 million rubles. In the future, the dealer plans to sell there not only new, but also used Aurus cars with mileage.
Recall that the development of the Aurus Senat began back in 2012, and the Russian executive class car first appeared in public during the inauguration of the President of Russia in May 2018. It is available in three body styles: sedan, limousine and convertible. Under the hood of the car, named after the Senate Tower of the Moscow Kremlin, is a hybrid power plant with a 4.4-liter V8 petrol turbo engine from Porsche Engineering. Serial production of Aurus sedans started at the Sollers-Yelabuga plant in May 2021.
