Oppo is in no hurry to endow its smartphones with the most powerful memory on the market. Its new flagships in the Find X5 line support 80-watt charging, which is far from a record. However, today at MWC 2022, the company spoke about current developments in this area.

It is also worth noting that the Battery Health Engine and Smart Battery Health technologies made it possible to ensure that after 1600 charge cycles the battery retained 80% of its capacity.
The first smartphone with 150-watt SuperVOOC charging will be some kind of OnePlus device, which will be released in June-July.
But 150 watts is no longer the limit. Oppo is working on pushing SuperVOOC to 200W or more. The company even has a 240W prototype system! In this case, it takes only 9 minutes to fully charge, and it takes only 3 minutes to replenish half the charge. Yes, to improve the result for just a few minutes, you need to increase the power by 60%, and it is not very clear yet whether it is worth it. But so far this technology is not ready for serial use.
