25 years in prison was imposed on the American -olivan who tried to kill writer Salman Rusdi

Hadi Matar, the 27-year-old American -olivan who attacked with a knife in 2022 to Salman Rusdi, the writer-symbol of freedom of expression, was now sentenced to 25 years in prison. Matar, who grew up in the US, was found guilty last February for attempted murder and attack. His trial, in Movill, New York, lasted two weeks.
