The universe of Sex and the City made us dream for 6 seasons, 94 episodes, 2 movies and a revival series. There second season of And Just Like That arrives in Italy from June 23 on Sky and streamed on NOW. We will find Kim Cattrall in the vertiginous heels of Samantha Jones, the best friend of the protagonist who we have not seen in the episodes broadcast in 2021. Carrie must have been a brunette

Carrie Bradshaw was supposed to have brunette hair but the producers changed her mind at the last minute because Candace Bushnell, the novel’s author and alter-ego, is blonde.

None of the four main friends has ever worn the same outfit twice in the course of the series, except Carrie for the fur coat sported in the first season (photo above).

Who wants to look beautiful…

Ten years ago to Net-A-Porter, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that she wore the mythological high heels on set (between Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo) for 18 consecutive hours.

Sarah Jessica Parler didn’t want to play Carrie Bradshaw

The actress revealed that her agent had to persuade her to play the series’ most famous single. The star of Girlfriends’ Guide to DivorceLisa Edelstein, would have been the second choice if Parker had officially refused.

A replacement named Matthew McConaughey

Kristen Davis is the only one of the four actresses of Sex And The City never to have received an individual award for her character, that of the lovely Charlotte York.

In the pilot, Carrie breaks the fourth wall, an idea that fortunately was abandoned a few episodes later, because it was not considered too convincing.

Samantha’s hot scenes were tough

Samantha’s sex scenes were complicated to shoot. Kim Cattrall revealed that she had a hard time coming up with ways to make those gasping sequences realistic.

All the addresses of the girls are fake

Carrie’s address is 245 East 73rd Street, Samantha’s is 300 Gansevoort Street, Charlotte’s is 700 Park Avenue, and Miranda’s is 331 West 78th Street. None of these addresses actually exist.

Sarah Jessica Parker is the only one of the cast to have imposed a clause never having to shoot nude scenes.
