We are updating 2GIS – in the current version of the application, it has become difficult to show everything that we have learned about the city and organizations.
In the new 2GIS we have changed the design, made a new search, improved the updating of cities, simplified the route search and merged Favorites with 2gis.ru.
You can join beta testing if you have a device running Android 4.1 or higher. As errors and shortcomings are corrected, you will be the first to receive updates and contribute to the development of the new version of 2GIS, which will be installed by millions of users. You don’t have to delete the main version – the beta works in parallel and you can switch between them at any time.

What we have already done:
- New look and feel. We’ve completely redesigned the design and made it easier to access the most requested features.
- New search. 2GIS has learned to understand complex queries. We will show you where to “eat in the center” and where the nearest “24-hour pharmacy” is.
- Renewal of cities. Fresh data is now downloaded and installed in the background, and does not interfere with the use of the smartphone. You can configure the update yourself: always or only if wi-fi is available.
- Transport. We build a route by car taking into account traffic jams and real traffic loads. Therefore, in the morning the route from A to B can be one, and in the evening – another. For those who travel by public transport, we show a detailed route and suggest which subway car to sit on.
- General profile with 2gis.ru. Add organizations to Favorites on 2gis.ru and they will appear in Favorites on your device.
