Together with the top-end laptop MateBook X Pro 2021, Huawei today presented two simpler models – MateBook 13 2021 and MateBook 14 2021. They are also built on 11th generation Intel Core processors, and in some configurations even have a discrete GPU Nvidia MX 450.
Each model is configured with a 2,160 x 1,440 pixel touchscreen, 300 cd / m2 brightness, covering 100% sRGB color space. In MateBook 13 2021, it occupies 88% of the lid, in MateBook 14 2021 – 90%. There is also fast charging and an improved cooling system that has made the new items quieter.
The configurations of the MateBook 13 2021 are as follows:
- Intel Core i5-1135G7, 16GB RAM, 512GB Flash, Intel Xe Graphics, $ 850
- Intel Croe i7-1165G7, 16GB RAM, 512GB Flash, Intel Xe Graphics, $ 1,000
- Intel Croe i7-1165G7, 16GB RAM, 512GB Flash, GeForce MX 450 graphics, $ 1,080
Huawei MateBook 14 2021 also has three configurations:
- Intel Core i5-1135G7, 16GB RAM, 512GB Flash, Intel Xe Graphics, $ 910
- Intel Core i5-1135G7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, GeForce MX 450 graphics, price – $ 990;
- Intel Core i7-1165G7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, GeForce MX 450 graphics, price – $ 1140.
The new items are available for pre-order in China today, with real sales starting on January 20.
