The second edition of the FII PRIORITY meeting in Miami, organized by the FII Institute, takes place between Thursday (22) and Friday (23) this week.
This year's meeting, with the theme “On the edge of a new frontier”, will offer an interactive program focusing on disruptive technologies and fostering innovation for social improvement. The main topics to be debated are: AI and Robotics, Education, Health and Sustainability.
“It is an opportunity to explore and debate how cutting-edge advances in AI, robotics, healthcare, finance and sustainability can be harmoniously integrated into our society globally,” according to the FII Institute, an international non-profit foundation.
Speakers and participants must address urgent global issues identified in the report prepared by the organization, the FII PRIORITY Compass, such as the rising cost of living, social inclusion and technological challenges.
More than 800 people, including investors, CEOs, world leaders, public policy makers, next generation visionaries, entrepreneurs, scientists, academics, professionals, global citizens, cultural and media icons, are expected to participate in the meeting this year.
Other editions of the event have already been held in Hong Kong, New York and London. This is the second edition held in Miami.
According to organizers, the location was chosen because “Miami is a flourishing center of innovation and industry, attracting an ever-expanding ecosystem for entrepreneurs, venture capital funds, talent and multinational corporations.”
