$ 3.8 million tokens stolen from Chinese decentralized exchange DODO

The Chinese decentralized exchange DODO has been hacked: hackers withdrew part of the liquidity from the WSZO, WCRES, ETHA and FUSI pools, and the tokens from the AC pool were returned. The damage amounted to $ 3.8 million.

DODO tweets that only V2 group bullets were vulnerable. Older pools of the first version were not affected by the attack.

“As a precaution, we have temporarily disabled the DODO Pooling Portal. We are currently working with our cyber security partners for a refund. We will provide all the necessary information later “, – wrote
DODO developers.

A little later, the development team reported that one of the hackers contacted her and plans to return to the exchange a part of the stolen tokens for $ 1.88 million. Apparently, the attacks were not related to each other – hackers attacked various pools, while the behavior of one of the hackers suggests that that it is a bot.

Jerry Zhou, managing partner of Puzzle Ventures, expressed confidence that the DODO team will be able to recover most of the stolen funds.

On March 5, the DeFi PAID Network project was hacked. The hackers received administrative privileges in the project’s smart contracts and issued PAID tokens worth $ 160 million. They sold about 2.5 million tokens and raised more than 2,000 ETH for them.
