A 3-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool, in the Center of Pedro de Toledo, in the interior of São Paulo. As determined by CNN only after more than an hour did the child’s parents notice that he was in the pool.
The case occurred on Rua B, in Jardin Caju, on the morning of last Wednesday (20). According to the city’s Health Department, the boy was taken by his family to an Emergency Care Unit (UPA). However, he was already dead when he arrived at the health unit.
According to the state’s Public Security Secretariat (SSP), given the circumstances of the death, expert examinations and analyzes at the Legal Medical Institute (IML) were requested.
The case was registered as a suspicious/accidental death at the Peruíbe Police Station.
