A woman is being investigated for manslaughter after forgetting her 3-year-old nephew inside the car, in the municipal garden, in São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, this Wednesday (2).
The aunt was not in the habit of taking the child to school, but on Wednesday (2) was responsible for this. The woman should have taken her nephew to day care in the morning, but forgot the sleeping boy in the back seat of the car and went to work.
Only in the afternoon realized and upon returning to the vehicle, did the child find the child. The fire department was fired, but the boy, who spent 6 hours locked in strong heat, could not resist. Death was caused by cardiorespiratory arrest.
The Secretariat of Public Security reported that it launched an inquiry to investigate the case. Expert examinations were requested from the Forensic and Criminalistics Medical Institutes (IML). The case was registered as a manslaughter when there is no intention to kill.
The City of São José do Rio Preto was sought by CNN but has not yet returned.
