The April 5, 1994the world of music said goodbye to Kurt Cobain. L'icon from the Generation took his own life with a rifle shot to the head, just 27 years old. Cross, Cobain – Heavier than the sky, the journalist recalls that the frontman began throwing ranch sauce on bassist Krist Novoselic. A stupid prank that led to a food fight. It was then that the bouncer grabbed the singer, unaware that he had kicked out the leader of the band for whom the party was taking place.

One of the top 10 alternative music moments on TV, it appears on the popular British show Cobain performs on smells like Teen Spirit with strange sunglasses. He plays the guitar without hands and sings as if he were sedated. Later, he would say that he was imitating Morrissey.

That time he married Courtney Love in his pajamas

On February 24, 1992, Kurt got married to the Hole leader on Waikiki beach in Hawaii. The singer wore green pajamas because he was “too lazy to put on a tuxedo.” Six months later, the couple gave birth to their daughter Frances Bean.

On January 11, 1992, Nevermind had just dethroned the King of Pop from the top spot on the charts, and Nirvana were invited to the famous show. During the credits, Kurt and Krist began French kissing. The frontman claimed he did it to annoy «the rednecks and the homophobes» from Aberdeen, his hometown.

August 30, 1992. In response to rumors about his mental health, Cobain appeared on stage at the English Music Festival, where Nirvana were the headliners, wearing a blonde wig and in a wheelchair. The show ends up being one of the most memorable, with Dave Grohl claiming he could hear every one of the 50,000 crowd singing along Lithium.

That time he took his little girl to work

Cobain brought his newborn daughter, Frances Bean, with him during a 1992 interview with MTV. He let Novoselic and Grohl handle most of the questions while he fed the little girl a bottle. A very tender moment.

That time he made MTV angry

Cobain and the band wanted to play their anti-rape song Rape Me on stage at the VMA's, but the network threatened to fire an employee who was friends with the boys if the band performed that song. Nirvana accepted but there was a «coup de théâtre»; when the group took the stage, they started with Rape Me before moving on to Lithiumcausing then-MTV president Judy McGrath to momentarily faint.
