Kurt Cobain's death turns 30 this Friday (5). The Nirvana frontman was the victim of a head injury caused by a shotgun.
Although the singer's body was found on April 8, 1994, the death certificate indicates that he had been dead since the 5th of that month.
In addition to being a vocalist, Cobain was also the guitarist and founder of Nirvana, a sensational band from the early 1990s and the greatest symbol of grunge, a subgenre of rock marked by dirty guitars that influenced all of pop culture. In addition to him, bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl were part of the band.

In addition to Nirvana, bands such as Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam became notable.
