Recently, sales of the Samsung Galaxy S series have fallen short of the manufacturer’s expectations. Still, Samsung is hoping the market performance of the Galaxy S22 series will be better.
The South Korean company expects its share of the global smartphone market to reach nearly 22% next year. The forecast also says that Samsung expects the number of smartphones in the world to increase to 1.52 billion. The company will sell 390 million mobile phones next year, of which 33 million will be the Galaxy S22.

Samsung’s goal is to sell 14 million Galaxy S22, 8 million Galaxy S22 + and 11 million Galaxy S22 Ultra. For the Galaxy A series, the company expects to sell 267 million Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A33. In addition, the manufacturer also hopes to sell 92 million Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73.
The company is changing its strategies ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S22 series. Samsung is reportedly planning to improve its marketing campaign and focus on providing more colors and features for the same price to boost sales.
Earlier it was reported that Samsung will provide water resistance to more Galaxy A series devices.
