The professional wrestler of Ring of Honor, Jay Briscoe was killed in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware on Tuesday night. The news was confirmed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, who said the accident occurred at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Meltzer reported that “two children were taken to hospital” after the accident and that his brother Mark Briscoe, “wasn’t in the car with him.”
CBS affiliate WBOC said that “due to the tragic incident, schools are being closed on Wednesday, January 18” and that “schools will reopen on Thursday, January 19″.
