Two criminals were arrested after the Diadema Civil Police frustrate an explosion plan of a bridge on the immigrant highway located in São Paulo, with dynamite bananas . The arrests took place on Wednesday (30).
According to the agents on Thursday (1st), the duo plan was Stealing a vault car that would pass through the region on the weekend after holiday of May 1st (Labor Day).
After information received, police went to the scene and found the vehicle quoted in the preliminary investigation. During criminals’ approach, nothing illicit was located. Although, 39 bananas were found with explosive materials in the car’s trunk.
Those involved were taken to the 3rd Diadema Police District, near the substances and the vehicle, and are available to the courts.
The Special Reaction Group (Ger) attended the site and found that the materials were explosives with high capacity for destruction, which would be able to cause major damage to the highway’s infrastructure.
