Huawei today unveiled not only the P50 Pocket clamshell smartphone, but also the flagship MateBook X Pro laptop. The novelty received a screen with a diagonal of 14.2 inches with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels with a frame rate of 90 Hz and a brightness of 500 cd / m2. The new MateBook X Pro is the first Huawei laptop to offer full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
The novelty turned out to be quite thin (15.5 mm) and light – the weight is 1.38 kg. The top screen bezel is only 6mm wide, and the engineers have integrated a webcam into it. Among the innovations is also a new cooling system with two fans and a large copper plate, which includes heat pipes. Huawei claims that heat dissipation has increased by 100%.
Other features of the model include a pressure-sensitive touch cursor control panel, six speakers and a 90W gallium nitride power supply included in the package.

Pre-orders for the new MateBook X Pro have started taking place in China today, with actual sales starting on January 6th. Judging by the date of the start of sales, the device uses Intel Alder Lake mobile processors.
