The Capital Homicide Division (DHC) is investigating the brutal death of a four -year -old girl, stabbed to northern Rio de Janeiro. The crime occurred on the morning of Thursday (1st), at Rua Claudio Manoel da Costa, in the Chapadão Complex, in Ricardo de Albuquerque.
According to the first information of the investigation, military police from the 41st BPM (Irajá) accompanied a couple at the 31st DP (Ricardo de Albuquerque) to record an occurrence of domestic violence.
During the statement, the agents were informed that the assaulted woman’s daughter had been found dead in the backyard of her mate’s father’s father – the girl’s stepfather.
DHC agents were at the scene, performed expertise and removed the body of small Marina Santos Pickerell for the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
The stepfather, his father and the girl’s mother were taken to give testimony at the Specialized Police Station. The circumstances of death and the dynamics of the crime are still being ascertained.
