On the eve of the opening of CES 2021, Dell has presented an updated line of monitors, one of the main models of which is the U4021QW (aka UltraSharp 40 Curved). This is Dell’s first 40-inch ultra-wide monitor.

The Dell U4021QW features a 2.5m curved WUHD (5210 x 2160 pixels) IPS panel with 60Hz frame rate and 5ms response time (Gray-to-Gray). The manufacturer claims coverage of 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709 and 98% DCI-P3. Proprietary ComfortView Plus technology reduces blue backlighting without significantly affecting color temperature.

The monitor received stereo speakers with a total power of 18 W, a DiplayPort 1.4 video input, two HDMI 2.0, a Thunderbolt 3 connector, a USB port hub (four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C), RJ-45. The convertible stand provides 12 cm height and tilt adjustment from -5 ° to 21 °, as well as 30 ° left and right panel pivot. Dell U4021QW supports PXE Boot and Wake-on-LAN technologies, as well as Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, KVM and Auto-KVM modes.

The novelty will go on sale in the US on January 28 for $ 2100.
