The Dell U4021QW features a 2.5m curved WUHD (5210 x 2160 pixels) IPS panel with 60Hz frame rate and 5ms response time (Gray-to-Gray). The manufacturer claims coverage of 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709 and 98% DCI-P3. Proprietary ComfortView Plus technology reduces blue backlighting without significantly affecting color temperature.

The monitor received stereo speakers with a total power of 18 W, a DiplayPort 1.4 video input, two HDMI 2.0, a Thunderbolt 3 connector, a USB port hub (four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C), RJ-45.
