Microsoft has unveiled its new games at E3 and gamescom 2021, and now it’s Sony’s turn to respond with its upcoming projects for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Fans who have long been waiting for the presentation of new products from Sony are unlikely to miss the PlayStation Showcase 2021 press conference scheduled for September 9 this year. After numerous rumors, the official announcement of the event was posted on the PlayStation Blog.
The broadcast begins next Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET on PlayStation Twitch and YouTube. The show will run for 40 minutes and will showcase PlayStation Studios exclusives as well as third-party games scheduled for release on Sony platforms this coming holiday season and next year. A more detailed demo of the game shown during the PlayStation Showcase 2021 and details will be released after the broadcast.
As for the expected demo, there are great chances of showing the new God of War from Sony Santa Monica Studio, as well as other exclusives. Sony immediately clarified that VR games will not be shown at this event.
