Realme was expected to release its first set-top box called the Realme 4K Google TV Stick, which will run Google TV, back in September, but that hasn’t happened. Now the manufacturer has confirmed that the new product will be released on October 13th.

The Realme 4K Google TV Stick will be the second portable streaming device to have Google TV installed. The first is Chromecast with Google TV. At the same time, the Realme 4K Google TV Stick will be able to surpass the Chromecast with Google TV and Xiaomi Mi TV Stick.

The Realme 4K Google TV Stick will support leading streaming platforms and various apps, as well as games from the Play Store. The new TV stick will be able to output content in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with support for high dynamic range HDR10 +. It will have an HDMI 2.1 port, built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant support.

Realme 4K Google TV Stick will receive 16 GB of flash memory, with at least 12 GB available to users. Recall that in Chromecast with Google TV, users only have about 5 GB of flash memory (out of 8 GB). The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick also has 8GB of flash storage.

The Realme 4K Google TV Stick will also feature dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a sub-$ 65 price tag.
