After four years of discussion, the elite hotel Chedi Andermatt is testing the possibility of paying for its services with cryptoassets. This was not a spontaneous decision. Jean-Yves Blatt, CEO of Chedi Andermatt, said:

During the test period, which will last about a year, hotel guests will be able to pay in BTC and ETH. Other cryptocurrencies are not considered as a means of payment for this period.
Opened in 2013, Chedi Andermatt offers 123 suites for ₣ 1,300 per night (approximately 0.03 BTC or 0.45 ETH). There is also a Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant, saunas, yoga classes and a fitness center. For active recreation, the hotel has a golf course, sports center and other leisure facilities.
