The 50 best, organization behind The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, which annually elects the 50 best restaurants in the world, announced that it will release a new list . The novelty will cover the 50 Best restaurants in North America highlighting addresses in the United States, Canada and parts of the Caribbean.

“North America has a setting of prosperous and diverse restaurants, which is constantly changing and evolving – its wealth of culinary traditions and influence cannot be underestimated,” William Drew said in North America’s 50 Best Restaurants.

The selection will reflect the choices of 300 voters that are part of the North America’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy.
Voters are chefs, restaurant owners, specialized journalists and professionals, who should remain anonymous. They are recruited by a group of gym presidents.
Voters name the eight best experiences they’ve had in recent months. Any restaurant style is eligible and the places do not need to adapt to any criteria to consider-there is also no cost for registration or pre-selection of houses.
It is noteworthy that Mexico, despite being part of North America, already has restaurants contemplated on the list of Latin America’s 50 restaurants. The same is true of Cuba and the Dominican Republic, which will not enter the list of North America, as they are contemplated in the Latin American regional selection.
