Auto maker Porsche has unveiled two new electric vehicle models at the Los Angeles Auto Show – the Taycan GTS sports sedan and the versatile Sport Turismo.

This means that Porsche now has ten electric Taycan variants in its range.
As the manufacturer notes, the Taycan GTS became the brand’s first all-electric car in the GTS sports line. Kevin Geek, vice president of the Taycan range, explained that the Taycan GTS in the company’s product line “sits above the Taycan 4S and below the Taycan Turbo, so it represents a true sweet spot.”

Prices for the Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo start at € 131,834 and € 132,786. Both variants will go on sale in the spring of 2022.

The Taycan GTS boasts two electric motors with a total output of 598 hp, a 93.4 kW battery and a range of 504 km. These are the first Taycans to cross the 500 km milestone. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h in both body styles is achieved in 3.7 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 km / h.

As a new additional option, the Taycan GTS offers a panoramic roof with Sunshine Control – an LCD film allows you to make the roof matte, which protects passengers from glare without darkening the interior. What’s more, the roof is divided into nine segments that can be individually controlled – for the first time in the automotive world.
