5G Auction, Census 2022, PEC dos Precatórios and more than November 4

The 5G auction and the drop in the fatality rate by Covid-19 are some of the highlights of the morning of this Thursday, November 4th, 2021.

PEC of Precatório

The Chamber of Deputies approved the basic text of the PEC dos Precatórios in the first round. Parliamentarians still need to vote on the so-called highlights. Afterwards, the text will be analyzed again in the second round, before being sent to the Senate.

Pandemic

According to a CNN survey, 21 states and the Federal District registered a drop in the fatality rate by Covid-19. That is, among people infected with the disease, the number of deaths dropped. The analysis compares data for the new coronavirus from October — last month — with those from April this year, the deadliest month of the pandemic.

5G

The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) is holding today the auction of 5G, the new mobile connectivity standard that will allow a high-speed internet connection in the country.

Census 2022

The IBGE starts testing today for the 2022 Census. By mid-December, neighborhoods, communities and districts in the 26 states and the Federal District will receive approximately 250 census takers, who will apply the same census questionnaire. The actual survey will be carried out from June next year.

COP26

COP26 enters the fourth day. Conference discussions will focus on initiatives to accelerate the global clean energy transition.
