Under the terms of the agreement reached between the parties, the broadcasting systems will be removed from the 700 MHz band, switching from analogue to digital broadcasting, with the support of the EU, allowing the allocation of the 700 MHz band on the network. 5G.

This important agreement was reached by the Greek Cypriot Negotiator, Andreas D. Mavrogiannis, and the Turkish Cypriot Special Representative, Ergün Olgun, with the facilitation of the Special Adviser to the Secretary General for Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar.
