6 restaurants to eat well and enjoy the best of Paris, France

Full of unmissable tourist attractions known around the world, such as the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris continues to be the capital of good gastronomy and variety of restaurants. After all, the City of Light is one of the cities with the most houses with Michelin star in the world.

Thinking about it, Luiza Mallmann digital influencer and creative director at Ryzí, visited the French capital and listed her favorite restaurants there.

Luiza’s selection proves that Paris has it all: establishments to enjoy, in addition to a good dish, the beautiful architecture, to be surprised by creations that mix the traditional and the contemporary, and also for that quick stop between one tour and another.

Baronne Restaurant

Baronne Restaurant

Located in the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild, the Baronne Restaurant it is a beautiful newly opened house. Signed by the architect Corinne Sachot who designed several establishments, such as the Loulou Courchevel restaurant, the place carries an aesthetic of old France with a contemporary touch. The architecture alone would be worth the visit, but the menu is also worth it.

The menu brings a mix of traditional and modern French cuisine. Among the options, visitors can choose between cuts of meat, fish and various vegetables.

Baronne Restaurant: Hotel Salomon de Rothschild — 11 Rue Berryer, 75008 Paris/ Tel.: +33 (0)1 42 25 73 35/ Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, from 12pm to 3pm and from 7pm to 11pm. The lunch menu is available from Monday to Friday.

Le Voltaire — Restaurant

Le Voltaire

Located on the banks of the River Seine, Le Voltaire offers traditional French food in a welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant is perfect, especially during the Parisian winter, when visitors can indulge in comforting dishes that warm both body and soul.

On the menu, you will find a variety of meats, fish, escargots and, for dessert, be sure to try the house’s famous profiteroles.

Le Voltaire: 27 quai Voltaire, 75007 Paris/ Tel.: +33 (0) 1 42 61 17 49/ Opening hours: every day, from 12pm to 3:30pm and from 7pm to 10:30pm

Hestia Restaurant

Hestia Restaurant

Hidden in a small street behind Notre Dame Cathedral, the Hestia Restaurant present in the Michelin Guide, was the best restaurant where I had a meal in Paris recently.

The chef Loic Dantec created a menu with seafood, pasta and different cuts of meat. To top it off, the desserts are surreal: there is blancmange, hot chocolate foam, profiteroles and a cheese board.

Hestia Restaurant: 8 Rue de la Huchette, 75005 Paris/ Tel.: +33 (0) 1 84 74 95 20/ Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 12pm to 2:15pm and from 7pm to 9:45pm

Onii-San Izakaya

Onii-San Izakaya

THE Onii-San Izakaya It is a small Asian restaurant that is still little known by tourists. The menu features cold and hot dishes very well executed and with a good variety of fish.

Oh, and don’t forget to book a table before you go!

Onii-San Izakaya: 82, Rue des Archives, 75003 Paris/ Tel.: +33 6 51 91 21 01/ Opening hours: Monday and Tuesday, from 7pm to 10:15pm; from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 2:30pm and from 7pm to 10:15pm

Tanori Paris

Tanori Paris

THE Tanori Paris It’s a fusion of a Korean and Mexican restaurant, and the result is the best taco (the main order on the menu) I’ve ever eaten in my life!

The restaurant, which combines its main dish with sushi, is perfect for a quick break for a meal at any time of the day, as it operates without interruption between lunch and dinner.

The City of Light is home to two Tanori units: one in the Marais neighborhood, where I had the pleasure of visiting, and another in Bastille.

Tanori Paris: 12, Rue volta Paris 75003/ Opening hours: every day, from 12pm to 10pm.

Freddy’s

Freddy's

In the Saint-Germain neighborhood, the Freddy’s is an intimate restaurant that serves contemporary French cuisine on a menu that is constantly reinvented, but always surprises. Different cuts of meat, pasta and raw fish are always present on the menu. The house operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not accept reservations.

Another highlight is the Freddy’s bar, ideal for an excellent wine tasting.

Freddy’s: 54, Rue de Seine, 75006 Paris/ Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 12:30 pm to midnight; on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12pm to midnight
